Characteristics of Mineral Water

Do you ever stopped to think that type of water we drink?

Today there are numerous brands of mineral water in the market, and the question is what is that best meets the natural requirements that the body needs water ingested.

Characteristics of Mineral Water
There are countless varieties, know them, will give us a better idea of what you actually drink.

Bottled water has increasingly popular natural water taken from the faucet or the boiled. Basically we can justify this change in consumer habits because of the distrust generated by the water which we can help us tap.

Functions of water in our body

60-70% of our body is water, so it is essential to drink between 2-3 litres a day to meet their organic functions, among which we named:

transporting nutrients into the cell interior

facilitate the dissolution and digestion

eliminate waste products

maintain body temperature

lubricate joints and other tissues, etc.
Water is of vital importance, since it is an essential component of the body, where are all the biochemical processes that allow us to maintain life.
The need for water from our body is constant, by which should be monitored, especially in the hottest months of the year, and in the groups that tend to suffer dehydration: children, pregnant women and elderly.

Differences between the (current) tap water and mineral

The difference with tap water is mineral water is a natural product that is very different to the tap water.
Public supply (for faucet) water is treated water to ensure their safe use. On the other hand, mineral water reaches the consumer such which is in nature, with the same mineral composition and purity, without being subjected to chemical treatments to be consumed.

When it comes to natural mineral water, refers to the waters that contain not only salts and minerals, they are also natural properties that arise from the source from which they were obtained. These special properties not can never be created artificially and obtain such water quality.
To come directly from a natural source, its mineral content is important, and according to the legislation, labelling should compulsorily be analytic composition where its components are listed.
